Welcome to uSayHi (usayhi.com). By using the site or placing a reservation, you agree to these Terms.
1. The reservation program
- A reservation places a fully refundable $10 deposit on a hat at the founding price. The balance ($29.99) is only charged if we hit our production goal of 1,000 reservations.
- If we don't hit goal by a reasonable production window, every deposit is refunded in full to the original payment method.

- Stripe processes and stores payment information. You also agree to Stripe's terms when you pay.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to place a reservation. uSayHi is intended for adults.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site to harass, stalk, or harm anyone.
- Attempt to defraud the reservation program (e.g. spam deposits).
- Interfere with the site's security or infrastructure.
4. The hat is a social signal, not a dating app
uSayHi is a piece of clothing. Wearing it doesn't obligate anyone to do anything, and it doesn't give anyone permission to disrespect your boundaries. Consent always wins.
5. Intellectual property
The uSayHi name, wordmark, designs, and site content are owned by us. You may not reproduce or resell them without permission.
6. Disclaimers
The site and the reservation program are provided "as is." We do our best to ship a great product on time, but we don't warrant uninterrupted service. Production timelines depend on hitting the goal.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, uSayHi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the hat. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date will change. If we make a material change to the reservation or refund terms, we'll email anyone with an active reservation.
