Refund Policy

The $10 deposit is fully refundable. Always. Here's how it works.

The reservation deposit

• Today you pay a $10 fully refundable deposit to hold a hat at the founding price.
• We only charge the $29.99 balance (for a $39.99 all-in total — free shipping included) once we hit 1,000 reservations.
• If we don't hit 1,000 reservations, every deposit is refunded in full. No questions, no fine print.

Asking for a refund

You can cancel your reservation and get your $10 deposit back at any time before we charge the balance. Just email hello@usayhi.com from the address you used to reserve and we'll refund within a few business days to the original payment method.

Once we hit the goal

• We notify you by email, then charge the saved card the $29.99 balance.
• You can still cancel and request a refund of the full $39.99 until production starts on your unit. After that, refunds for change-of-mind aren't possible (we've already cut the materials).
• Defective or wrong items: email us within 30 days of receiving your hat and we'll replace or refund.

If we don't hit the goal

We'll email everyone with a reservation, refund all $10 deposits in full to the original payment method, and figure out a smaller-batch version or shut the project down gracefully.

Shipping

Shipping is free on every reservation — it's included in the $39.99 founding price, with no separate shipping charge. If a replacement is needed for a defective or wrong item, we cover that shipping too.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer-protection rights under applicable local law (for example, EU/UK distance-selling cooling-off periods).
