Privacy Policy

uSayHi ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights — written in plain English.

What we collect

• Reservation info: email, first name (optional), colorway, and hat style.
• Payment info: processed and stored by Stripe. We receive a Customer ID, Payment Intent ID, and a tokenized payment method reference — never your raw card number.
• Email signups: email address for drop alerts.
• Votes: a random browser-local identifier so a single browser can't vote a hundred times. Not tied to your identity.
• Server logs: standard request metadata (IP, user agent, timestamp) used for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• Hold your reservation, charge the deposit, and (if we hit goal) charge the balance.
• Email you about your order, refunds, the drop, and shipping.
• Improve the product based on aggregated vote and reservation data.
• Prevent fraud and abuse.

Who we share it with

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — hosting our database and backend infrastructure.
• Email provider — to send transactional and update emails.
• Law enforcement when legally required.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@usayhi.com. Residents of certain jurisdictions (e.g. CA, EU, UK) have additional rights under local law and we'll honor them.

Retention

We keep reservation and order records for as long as needed to fulfill the order and meet tax/accounting obligations. Email signups are kept until you unsubscribe.

Children

uSayHi is intended for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
